We also offer state of the art laboratory services. Digital radiology, endoscopy and ultrasonography are standard. (We do not offer advanced surgery such as colic or arthroscopy. We refer those emergencies to Pioneer Equine or UC Davis).
It is a real exciting time for us to start this clinic offering comprehensive care and maintenance for your horses.

Who We Are
DR. JESSE DEUX DMV
Equine Veterinarian
Dr. Deux was born and raised in France. He had an equestrian childhood competing in Dressage & Three-Day Eventing.
He then moved to the U.S. and became a horse trainer for 15 years.
He received his Bachelors from Cal Poly then studied at U.C. Davis and graduated from Veterinary School in 1997. He started his DVM career at Santa Anita racetrack then moved to Fresno County opening a private practice in 2000.
He is excited to open his clinic at the Sliding J Ranch in Acampo.
He continues his education with special interest in Medicine, Acupuncture, Dentistry, and Reproduction.
JOELL DEUX
Office Manager
Born and raised in CA. Riding horses since young age English and Western. Attended San Diego State University. Raised 2 boys along with a career in bar/ restaurant. Very personable and a wiz at keeping her husband on track.
